Welcome to Stick Desk. By accessing or using our mobile app or website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
1. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to Stick Desk’s mobile app and web app.
- “User” refers to buyers, sellers, inspectors, or anyone using the platform.
- “Listing” means any device posted for sale.
- “Expert Call” refers to pre-purchase advisory provided by Stick Desk experts.
- “Inspection” refers to Stick Desk’s verification service for laptops/PCs.
2. Eligibility
To use Stick Desk:
- You must be 13+ years old (under 18 with parental guidance).
- You must provide accurate information.
- You must comply with Pakistani laws and Stick Desk policies.
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide correct and honest information when creating listings
- Not post stolen, illegal, or prohibited devices
- Not misrepresent product conditions or specifications
- Conduct transactions respectfully and lawfully
- Not misuse the platform (spam, scams, harassment, fraud)
Violations may lead to account suspension.
4. Marketplace Rules
4.1 For Sellers
You agree that:
- All listings must reflect real products in your possession
- Images should be authentic and not stolen from the internet
- Specifications must be accurate
- You will comply with product delivery or meet-up arrangements (if applicable)
4.2 For Buyers
You agree that:
- You are responsible for verifying products before purchase
- Payments must be made through safe channels
- You will report suspicious behavior to Stick Desk
5. Stick Desk’s Role (Marketplace Disclaimer)
Stick Desk:
- Is not a party to buyer-seller transactions
- Does not guarantee pricing, condition, or quality of user-posted devices
- Provides tools for safer transactions (inspections, expert calls, verification)
- May intervene in disputes but is not legally liable for user misconduct
Stick Desk does sell devices itself from verified inventory—these products follow company inspection standards.
6. Expert Call Service
- Expert calls provide guidance only, not binding recommendations
- Stick Desk is not liable for decisions made based on expert advice
- Calls may be recorded for training and quality assurance
7. Inspection Service
- Inspections are done by trained experts (including founders)
- Inspection results are based on the device condition at the time of testing
- Stick Desk does not guarantee future performance of devices
- Buyers must still perform due diligence
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Post counterfeit or stolen laptops/PCs
- Use the platform to commit fraud
- Pretend to be Stick Desk staff
- Upload harmful software
- Violate privacy of other users
9. Payments & Fees
- Some Stick Desk services may require fees (expert call upgrades, inspection packages)
- All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated
- Third-party payment gateways have their own terms
10. B2B Services (Future Scope)
For business clients:
- Additional agreements may apply
- Pricing may be customized
- Bulk device sourcing, inspections, and warranties may be added
11. Intellectual Property
All content on Stick Desk (logo, branding, text, media, design) is the property of Stick Desk and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
12. Termination
Stick Desk may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Engage in fraud
- Violate T&C
- Harm the platform or community
13. Limitation of Liability
Stick Desk is not liable for:
- Losses from user-to-user transactions
- Damages caused by defective devices purchased from other users
- Miscommunication or disputes between users
- Third-party service failures (delivery, payment gateway, etc.)
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan, particularly:
- Pakistan Penal Code
- Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016
- Provincial Consumer Protection Acts
